Why, not all immoral acts criminalized in Indonesia..??
Indonesia has many
culture. Sometimes, some of Indonesian culture is not appropriate with the
legal principal, like people behavior. The behavior which is not appropriate with
the legal norm called as immoral act. And then the question here is “why this
act is not criminalized, whereas contradict with the legal norm”???
In my opinion, it is because there is no standard definition about moral or immoral. We know
that Indonesia is multicultural country. Indonesia has many culture and
tradition, which
is different each other. Every
people, culture, region, tribe, and tradition, has owner perspective toward
moral and immoral. Immoral measure is appropriate with valid
legal norm in the original region. For example in Papua, Papua’s people wear koteka in daily live, for
papua’s people koteka is tradition. But, if we apply national law
to them, the habbit is immoral case, and it is violate
the law. Because based on national law koteka included
pornographic. So the conclusion is not all immoral act criminalized because
morality is something that can not be measure in exact way.
